About Us
Troy Skate Church is a refuge that exists to reach the youth and young adults in our community with the love of Jesus regardless of gender, background, race or religious affiliation. - We exist to see lives changed!
Think of us like a misfit's church, the black sheep of the family. We don't fit into the "Christian box"; we're rough, messy, and not your standard Christians! We have a heart for skaters and just want to love people like Christ would have!
Who is Troy Skate Church?
Skate Church is a 501c3 non-profit church, focused on outreach to the youth and young adults in our local skate community. Jon & Sami Hagar lead this mission with the help of Michael Burrows and Brandon Ike. We have no paid staff and are completely run by volunteers.
What does TSC do?
Our team goes to the Joe Reardon Skate Park in Troy every Friday night and does a free dinner for the skate community. We bring Jesus to shred it at the park every Friday night!
Our Vision
The vision of Troy Skate Church is to reach the skate community with the love of Christ. We've all been, seen, or known a "misfit".
Get Involved
There are plenty of ways to get involved and help spread the love of Jesus to the skaters. We are always looking for people to volunteer, whether that is by helping with food, by skating on Fridays, by shooting some sick videos, or in some other way; please let us know via an option at the bottom of this site. If you feel you don't have the time or skills to help in any way, you can still be involved though a donation which will help feed the skaters and further the ministry of loving the skate community.
